Hanging out with other photographers using the latest and greatest DSLRs with a mechanical film MF camera was fun. A lot of pre-focussing and timing was needed for this shot.

A stray from my preferred black and white, this photo was needed in colour. In Berlin and other parts of Germany, the locals will always wait for the green man before crossing a road regardless of how quiet the road is. This photo completely captures this behaviour. It was a bit of a culture shock especially since in the past 12 months, I’ve travelled to countries that condone ignoring the pedestrian crossings.
