Newtown, an inner Sydney suburb experiencing gentrification provides many photo opportunities. It’s juxtapositions and stories galore in this place. It’s not too difficult fathom what the area used to be like before it was taken over by the modern professionals, as there are still signs of the old Newtown. It really is a great place to visit and sit in one of the cafes and just observe the events that float by.

Cabramatta series
First impressions of Cabramatta was the intensity of the Asian community, in particular the Vietnamese community. Other cultural centric communities that I’ve experienced have included other nationalities and ethnicities, however Cabramatta offered something completely different.
