Commemorating Vaclav Havel
Vaclav Havel, the first president of the Czech Republic, passed away on December 18, 2011. He successfully lead the Velvet Revolution which saw the Soviet Union cede control of Czechoslovakia in 1989. Becoming the president, he then saw the peaceful division between the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993. To commemorate his passing, multiple memorial sites have been established in Prague. This pictorial captures the various sites as well as the people placing candles, flowers and gifts to commemorate the passing of a pioneer.

TTPM Sapa (Little Hanoi)
TTPM Sapa is located south of Prague, in an area called Pisnice. A mini community within a community, it contains markets, stalls, restaurants, hair salons and a temple. Populated by a Vietnamese community, it is a place where cameras of any sort are traditionally not welcomed. This set offers an insight into the community that has continued to thrive over the years.
