The photographer

Wayne Wong first began photography as a child, adding to his love of drawing, painting and playing music.  To complement his passion for creativity, he also had a love of technology.  He spent his formative years in education exploring this blend.  Subsequently, he began working as a freelance photographer and a producer in advertising agencies and technology companies that had creativity at heart.

He crafted his creative vision over the years, inspired by music, design, art and the beauty of his environment. His wish is to create provocative photos that celebrate the extraordinary but also capture the simple moments often hidden to the passing glance.

As a photographer, Wayne’s artistic vision is based on his diverse experience in fashion, portraits, weddings, architecture, advertising and performance arts. He has worked with clients in Europe, America, and Australia, and it is his hope to use this wealth of experience to create work that surpasses each client’s expectations. Wayne works with each client ensuring their vision is a part of each photo, and their needs are fulfilled with each project.

The highest quality image making equipment is used, including Hasselblad and Leica, to ensure no compromises are made in the artistic integrity of each photo.

The Vision

Photography provides an ever-evolving answer to the mysteries of life, reflecting growth and exploration captured within a single moment.

When that single moment of life is captured, everything within it is revealed. Some are entranced by the foreground, others by a bird flitting away into the horizon. Each viewer brings to the work their own narrative, their own emotions. From the same moment, viewers can derive a wealth of emotions, even years into the future. Photographs transcend space and time; they bring the past into the present, and their stories are rewritten with each person that views them.

Wayne works with each individual to ensure that his photos become their photos; that they capture the unique narrative that every person has to tell-without ever saying a word.
