Cabramatta Study

First impressions of Cabramatta was the intensity of the Asian community, in particular the Vietnamese community.  Other cultural centric communities that I’ve experienced have included other nationalities and ethnicities, however Cabramatta offered something completely different.

From the odd street stalls on the footpath (amusingly set up underneath street signs which stated street stalls were prohibited) to the tropical fruits sold (such as durian, rambutan, jack fruit) and other food typically associated with Asia, it was indeed Little Asia!

Wander half a block out of the main shopping strip and things started to taper off to a different culture. What I initially thought was a mosque, turned out to be an orthodox church.
